FULLY EQUIPPED ACCOMMODATION FOR APPRENTICES IN THE SKILLED TRADES

🏘️In Straubing, a modern, fully equipped temporary home for apprentices and young skilled workers was opened in 2024. The residence offers 32 accommodation units, training and administrative rooms, and garage parking spaces.

Part of the residence is situated right next to the Plattling–Regensburg railway line. 🚆Rail traffic causes excessive levels of vibrations and structure-borne noise. Therefore, protective measures had to be put in place for the building. This is where the elastic bearing of the building comes into play.

🎯This elastic bearing system was dimensioned using Calenberg elastomer bearings as follows: Cibatur was installed across the entire surface beneath the Floor slab. Depending on the level of exposure, the protective measure was divided into 2-layer (8 Hz) and 1-layer (11 Hz) Cibatur elastomer bearings, and an area without any measures. Cisador was installed on the side wall below ground level. This way, the protective measures for the building were successfully implemented.
