DAGA 2022 - Calenberg
From 21 to 24 March, the 48th Annual Conference on Acoustics (DAGA), organised by the German Society for Acoustics (DEGA), took place on the university campus in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. All aspects of sound transmission were addressed here in up to thirteen parallel series of lectures.
Calenberg Ingenieure took part in the company exhibition with its own stand, where the focus was on the presentation of the patented flexible noise barrier Cisilent® Type E. Both the rental version with integrated fastening loops, which is available for the common scaffolding bay sizes, and the purchase version, whose special plus is the full flexibility of the format (for example, angled corner cuts or openings including a slot for pipe penetrations can be made), aroused the interest of the almost 1000 conference participants. The movable walls illustrated with interior and exterior applications as well as the hand samples attracted employees from a wide range of industries. Just how varied and diverse the topics of discussion were evident, for example, in the case of luxury yachts, where the machines and double walls must be soundproofed, through to pipelines that are too loud and music festivals, where the stages must be acoustically insulated on three sides. Cisilent® was often considered as a solution. Calenberg Ingenieure would like to thank all interested parties and, of course, the professionals we know who visited us at our stand.
